Summary
We are seeking an Assistant to join our dynamic team at ECS Textiles Limited. This role is essential in supporting our operations related to textile recycling and collection initiatives. The Assistant will contribute significantly to our mission of diverting waste from landfills and supporting charitable causes.
Responsibilities
Receive and unload incoming items, materials, or products at the sorting bay.
Sort items based on predetermined categories, such as type, condition, or material.
Inspect items for quality and compliance with sorting guidelines.
Accurately record and document the sorted items for inventory or tracking purposes.
Ensure that items are placed in the designated areas for further processing, recycling, or disposal.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sorting bay area.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize the efficiency of sorting processes.
Report any damaged or hazardous items to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
Follow company policies and procedures for waste management and environmental regulations.
