We’re looking for an adaptable, confident, and enthusiastic team player to join ECS Textiles Ltd and take on a hybrid role covering both operations and marketing. You’ll be at the heart of the business – coordinating logistics, supporting our drivers and suppliers, and leading the charge on our digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is organised and detail-oriented, and wants to grow alongside a dynamic, socially conscious business.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Office Administration
Coordinate daily stock collections from suppliers.
Prioritise and assign collection routes to drivers based on location and urgency.
Communicate with suppliers, confirm details, and address queries.
Answer inbound telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare all necessary paperwork, labels, and driver reports.
Monitor and record collection data, driver activity, and any incident notes.
Maintain up-to-date databases and accurate filing systems.
Resolve operational issues, liaise with suppliers and drivers.
Support general office tasks including data entry and document control.
Marketing & Digital Engagement
Develop and manage content for digital platforms including websites, blogs, and social media.
Plan and schedule engaging posts across Facebook, Instagram and more.
Create educational and promotional content about textile recycling and company activities.
Plan and implement marketing campaigns.
Stay informed on trends in digital marketing and the recycling industry.
Contribute to marketing ideas for ECS Textiles and Collect4All, our group brands.
What we’re looking for
At least 1 year of office administration experience.
A confident communicator with excellent phone manner and written skills.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and/or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite).
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Proactive, can-do attitude and keen to take initiative.
Must be able to reliably commute to NE29 8RQ daily for a 9am start.
Strong team player who is also comfortable working independently.
A desire to grow professionally as the business evolves.
Experience using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
Interest or background in sustainability, recycling, or textiles.
