Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies to drive brand growth, increase engagement, and generate sales across all businesses in The Guardians Group. This is a hands-on role for a highly organised, creative, and commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in-office alongside a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans for each business in the group.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and target audiences.
- Build brand positioning strategies to differentiate each business in its market.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and PR channels.
- Manage the creation of engaging content for websites, social media, and email marketing.
- Work with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce marketing assets.
Digital Marketing
- Oversee all group and brand social media channels, ensuring consistent posting and engagement.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) with clear ROI tracking.
- Optimise websites for SEO, user experience, and lead generation.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on marketing KPIs and campaign performance.
- Use analytics to refine strategies and improve results.
- Present marketing reports to the COO and senior leadership team.
Team & Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing aligns with operational priorities.
- Potentially recruit and lead junior marketing team members as the department grows.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in marketing management, ideally across multiple brands/sectors.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, and campaign management.
- Proficiency in social media marketing, SEO, email marketing, and paid ads.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in healthcare, sports marketing, or creative industries is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with an eye for creativity and brand storytelling.
