The Opportunity: As a Management Accountant within Hargreaves Earthworks division, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across a diverse range of business units.

Working as a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with Management Accountants, Finance Assistants, Sales and Purchase Ledger teams, and will be responsible for preparation and submission of the monthly accounts. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends financial management with operational collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly accounts with precision, including journal entries.
• Maintain strong control over balance sheets and perform detailed reconciliations.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles to help shape strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and uphold robust financial controls.
• Identify and implement opportunities for system and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and contribute to wider finance initiatives.
• Liaise with auditors and respond to queries with professionalism and clarity.
• Provide guidance to ledger teams and help streamline financial processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
