Our story began in 2013 when The Forest Academy, Barnsley joined the Trust. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant community of 31 schools. Our schools are unique and united in aim – to make a difference.
We are a mixed community of mainstream Secondary and Primary, Special, and Alternative Provision schools. We operate in eight local authority areas, spanning South, West and North Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire. Our work has developed beyond our classrooms to offer wider services to benefit other schools and communities.
We encourage distinctiveness in our schools and we don’t believe in a top-down approach. It is an approach that delivers excellent results, and one that has proven its effectiveness over time.
