Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through both adult and child-initiated play.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and growth.
• Implement In the Moment Planning (ITMP) to facilitate free-flow activities in designated areas.
• Work closely with parents to establish starting points for each child’s development.
• Monitor and track children's progress through focus weeks and share insights with parents.
• Encourage children to develop resilience, confidence, and social skills in group settings.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
• A passion for early childhood education and child development principles.
• Ability to manage small groups of children while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are preferred.
