T.E.L. Engineering Ltd require an experienced CNC Turner Setter Programmer to work within their workshop environment in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The role would see the successful candidate working to help machine parts which will make their way around the UK and the rest of the World, primarily for the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Working to schematic and mechanical GA drawings.
Liaising with team members, as well as other departments, to ensure the availability of required components.
Hands on experience with CNC turning operations and programmes
Familiarity with CNC programming languages and software - Prototrak and Siemens preferred.
Experience with manufacturing steel components
Exposure to working with a range of materials such as aluminium, mild steel, stainless steels, Leaded Bronze and plastic.
City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering beneficial
Comply with the Company policies, procedures and instructions.
Comply with the Company Health and Safety procedures.
Familiarity with XYZ Machines preferred.

Required skills:

Over 5 years experience working as a CNC Turner Setter and Programmer
Ability to write CNC Programs from scratch, identify and solve problems
Attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams.
Highly motivated.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work in a safe manner in line with company’s Health and Safety policies.
