Community Angels: Guildford's volunteer befrienders
Would you like to brighten someone's week?
A friendly chat; a listening ear. A home visit, cafe outing or a walk in the park. Support and encouragement and something to look forward to. Just a couple of hours a week can make a difference when life feels lonely.
Community Angels are volunteers, helping to address loneliness in Guildford through weekly one-to-one befriending.
If you can spare a couple of hours a week for six months, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll provide training to get you started, match you carefully and appropriately with someone to befriend, and offer ongoing volunteer support and learning opportunities.
