A welcoming primary school is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child who has additional needs This role is about building trust, offering consistency, and helping the pupil feel safe and ready to learn. You will be working at a KS2 level with guidance from the Teacher.

The Role
You will work closely with the class teacher to support both learning and wellbeing, using patience, empathy, and creativity to nurture confidence and resilience. The focus will be on emotional regulation, encouragement, and gentle guidance through daily routines.
The Ideal Person
Applicants should hold a relevant degree or a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience with trauma-informed approaches is highly beneficial. What matters most is your ability to connect with children, remain calm under pressure, and bring a caring, reliable presence.

Role Type: Full time / Part time / Temp - Perm
Pay Rate: £14.60 - £16.90 per hour
Hours
8.30am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Open to full-time and part-time applicants.
