Ngaged Ltd is looking for dedicated Tutor’s to join our friendly team. In this role, you will provide high-quality teaching to SEND students, working 1:1 helping them overcome barriers to learning and helping them to achieve their potential.
Ngaged Ltd provides professional mentoring, wraparound guidance, education and nurture across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. We work with young people who have become disengaged from school and society due to conditions such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, behaviour leading to exclusion, school phobia, drug addiction, family issues, trauma and many other factors. We pride ourselves on our reputation within the industry, our high standards, communication and commitment. Our tutors are experts in their fields and bring compassion, creativity, and flexibility to every learning journey.
The Role of an Academic Tutor : Our staff travel to the student and work with them either in the home or in the local community and occasionally 1:1 with them on the school site, depending on their specific needs.
We are looking for exceptional individuals with the ability to teach subjects such as:
Maths, English, Science,
PE
Art and IT to young people who are disengaged and lacking in confidence.
You will help to create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement with an unrelenting focus on high expectations, progress and learner achievement.
The successful candidate will be:
intuitive and sympathetic to the additional needs of our young people, some of whom have not attended school for a long time.
patient and supportive and have high hopes for our students whilst acknowledging that sometimes their achievements are not easily evidenced.
Requirements of the role:
A reliable car
A valid driving licence with Business Use insurance
Experience of working with young people who have extra needs
QTS
2 x employment references, Enhanced DBS check and subscription to DBS Update Service (for successful candidates we can help facilitate this)
Pay & Benefits:
We offer a range of employment contracts, from permanent full time to part time (minimum of 2 days per week) and casual contracts! All of our positions are term time only (39 weeks)
For a full time, permanent position hours of work are 30 per week (face to face sessions) with an annual salary of £33,000 per annum (term time only).
