Noa's Place

Noa’s Place is a community-led charity based in Halifax, dedicated to creating a sensory-first hub where neurodivergent and disabled individuals and their families can truly belong. Born from the lived experience of navigating the gaps in the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) system, the charity was founded on the belief that no family should have to wait for a crisis to receive support. We are building a safe, understanding environment where there is absolutely no need to "mask" or explain yourself. A place where meltdowns are met with compassion rather than judgment, and where the specific sensory and accessibility needs of our community are the foundation of everything we do.

Our hub will offer a suite of inclusive services, including state-of-the-art sensory rooms, a fully accessible indoor playground, and a community café designed to reduce the isolation so often felt by carers. Beyond the physical space, Noa's Place provides vital interactive digital tools, advocacy, and peer support networks to help families navigate their journey with confidence. By bridging the gap between professional services and daily family life, we aren't just building a centre; we’re building a lifeline in Calderdale that ensures every child can be themselves and no parent has to navigate the journey alone.
