Guildford Town Centre Chaplaincy runs 3 Guildford based projects designed to support the safety, mental health and wellbeing of our clients. These are
- Street Angels, helping people enjoy nightime Guildford safely on Friday and Saturday nights
- Community Angels, a befriending service designed to support those with, for example, mental ill health, frailty, disability, cost of living challenges or bereavement
- Volunteer Chaplains, who are based in various locations around the town, including GLive, George Abbot school and various local doctors' surgeries and who provide a listening ear
Our Angels and Chaplains all work on a voluntary basis supported by an office based team, who provide administrative backup, training and other support.
